This is a fragment from "Ashera,"
a work in progress--or in my head anyway. Jasmine, a dancer at
Circe's back in 1998, was the model for many of my Ashera drawings, and I've wanted to
animate her for a long time. The guy at the bar is Jimmy the
Poet. "Watch her," Velvette scolds him. Where are they
are they now?...
What animates them today?
