Washed Up, 2004, oil on linen, 47 x 35 inches This painting turned out to be prophetic.
In August of 2018 I had a stroke, which disabled my dominant
left hand. Over the next few years I sort of learned to draw
and paint with my right hand, but the stroke slso disabled my
creativity, the inspirations which demanded to be materialized.
I could draw, sort of, but draw what? So, now I am truly washed
up.
